new discovery: stack them high

this week the sun has been shining bright like a diamond but right now its hiding behind a swathe of black cloud. my boy is away in the usa eating trader joes peanut buttercups. i am going to venice on thursday and literally cannot wait for the sensory overload that i know will attack me as soon as i get off the plane. so thats my life right now!

this morning i discovered these plates and now i can’t stop thinking about them. london-based designer sebastian bergne collaborated with artist sophie smallhorn to create colourware, stacking plates made from various materials and cut into different thicknesses. the fun and functional boxes are ticked with these and reminds me that thought should go into even the most fundamental homewares. x jo
